Due to the design of our bedset, there is a large gap where pillows can squeeze through. For years, every night my husband pushed the majority of our pillows onto the floor behind the headboard while asleep. Now that we have added this beauty to the mix, the bed stays put together and no more pillows on the floor! We like the color and the fabric is quite sturdy, but not soft. If you are looking for soft, you will want to purchase a different fabric. We intend to purchase a second one for our guestroom and smaller version for our couch.Great solution to low ceiling bedroom and bed without a headboard.Comfortable, durable fabric that has a nice feel. Not overly soft.I like the pockets on the sides and it's comfy. I also have a corduroy headboard pillow from this same company and I think it's just a matter of preference which you'd prefer. The courduroy headboards they sell are thicker and a bit more comfy but not everyone loves courduroy and this material feels slightly nicer to touch.
